The latest instalment of the newly established European Pro-Tour takes place this weekend with the Belgium Open.
The format sees the top 16 players on the Tour Ranking gain access to the Men’s Open, with tournament organisers also allowing for 6 wildcard entries. Ireland will have two representatives in the Men’s Open with Tyrone’s Conor McElduff & Limerick’s Padraig Quish. Reigning Irish Nationals Champion McElduff earning his spot by reaching the Spanish Open SF a few weeks back, whilst Quish won the UK Open B’s last February to earn his spot wildcard entry.
Argentina, Belgium, Holland, Ireland, Spain, UK, and the USA will all be represented in the field, with the quality of play growing substantially form the establishing European countries year on year.
