60x30 Adult Singles Winners - Weekend Roundup

A host of venues played host to the various grades of the 60x30 Adult Singles finals at the weekend as the titles for 2017 were decided. In total 19 counties contested finals with 12 taking home gold medals. Tipperary were the form county of the weekend taking home four titles while Kilkenny were next in line with three followed by Carlow, Kildare and Wexford on two titles apiece while Dublin, Kerry, Limerick, Offaly, Sligo, Wicklow and Westmeath all shared one title each.

There was an eye catching win for Kildare’s Leah Doyle in the Ladies Minor Singles over Clare’s Catriona Millane while Kilkenny’s Aoife Holden had a tight three game win against Fiona Tully of Roscommon in the Ladies Intermediate grade.

Jack O’Shea from Kerry took the Junior Singles title with victory over Carlow's Daniel Fenlon while Kilkenny’s Brian Mahon secured the U21 title defeating Tyrone's Ryan Mullan. In the Over 35's A final Offaly’s David Hope overcame Kerry’s Dominick Lynch while in the Masters A decider Tipperary’s David Moloney had a good 2 games win over Wexford's Gavin Buggy.
