Cork's Catriona Casey & Aishling O'Keeffe broke more records today as their sealed a remarkable 5th consecutive Softball Senior Doubles title today at Croke Park, building on the dominance they have in Doubles Handball in Ireland at present.
They faced first time finalists Ciara Mahon & Aoife Holden (Kilkenny), who certainly made a good account of themselves and played some real quality shots over the course of the match. But the craft and experience of the Ballydesmond duo proved a step too far this time, Cork winning 21-8, 21-9.
