Tuamgraney & Leixlip were the winners of today's Division 1 Boys & Girls Feile in Colaiste Feirste, Belfast, whilst national titles went to 6 counties across the various grades over the weekend, including Lahorna who completed a club double by winning the Boys 60x30 and the Boys 40x20 Division 4.
A major weekend saw all of the group stage games played off on Saturday in St Pauls, Gort na Mona, Colaiste Feirste and Kingscourt, before all of Sunday's action descended on the fantastic new facilities in Colaiste Feirste. Some gripping encounters were payed out over the weekend, as life long memories were made by all the players, coaches and supporters.
The final match of the weekend proved a fitting finale to a great tournament with Tuamgraney (Clare) overcoming a two point group stage defeat to bounce back and defeat reigning champions Carrickmore by one ace in a sensational encounter in the Boys Division 1 Final.
Once again, the standard on show was exceptional, and credit must go to all the players, coaches and parents for their timeless effort. Thank you also to all the host clubs and volunteers who ensured everything ran so smoothly all weekend.
